ROD TO RIVER WEEKEND

[3 days: build your own fly rod and test it on a fish]

This workshop is for those fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, families, or couples who enjoy fly fishing largely because of the shared time and memories.

Description

Working together you’ll handcraft a one-of-a kind fly rod to add to your arsenal that you’ll enjoy for many seasons to come.  Just as unique are the irreplaceable memories you’ll build together that will strengthen the relationship of a lifetime.  And the icing on the cake?  It’s the feeling you’ll get when the rod that you just built bends under the weight of that first giant rainbow trout!

Cost and Details

  • $749/person

  • Available year round

  • Minimum of 2 people per booking

  • Includes your hand built fly rod + a fly reel, fly line, AND our 1/2 day "Fun on the Fly" Workshop!

  • You will work as a team to build ONE fly rod

  • Recommended minimum age 11yrs old

  • No fishing license required 

  • A day of guided fishing your new rod on one of our local streams or rivers can also be added or substituted [additional charge]

Cancelation Policy

All payments are final and are non-refundable.

If Family Lines Fly Fishing Academy cancels your reservation, all payments will be transferred to an alternate date or, refunded in full.
